OK GO – The Coolest Band Evah!

23 Mar

If you haven’t seen them yet, here’s a f*ckyeah rock-n-roll band whose videos are ridiculously amazing that they deserve their own post. I was staring, mouth-open throughout the video of the song, This Too Shall Pass. I know, for some, the concept is too raw to be adequate, but the only word I can say is “Kudos.” The live version of this song from OK GO site is also a great recording. I mean, the levels were set correctly.

The band, Ok Go, is infamous for their remarkable music videos, indeed their video concepts are the main reason this rock n’ roll group has become so well known.

Check these out..

1. OK GO – A Million Ways – tongue-in-cheek dance routine (Could there be anyone hotter than Damian Kulash? *giggles*)
2. OK GO – Here It Goes Again – one camera, a few treadmills
3. OK GO – Do What You Want – wallpaper fun

Syemperds, di ko na naman ito ma-aappreciate dahil ang musika ay isa lamang mataas na uri ng ingay sa aking tenga.

I think I just fell in love. ❤

I shall check out more of their songs. Pretty catchy :).

    Check this out:

Not exactly a music video, it's a short film, but it has the same idea of the music video here, only way darker. =O You'll see, if you're the least bit interested.

Wait.. there are two videos for this song. you might like watching the other one..

nah.. i don’t consider it a short film. it’s a bit distorted for me. distortion in aspect, not in story(which I cannot say anything for kasi medjo farfetched). it is just another short form video… the kind of video that doesn’t necessarily need the song for it to stand on u-tube or other video channels.. i don’t wanna spoil but i realize the video was badly clipped.. as i went to the end of the video, the drum beat bleed over the lyrics..

but i love the song, i mean the way it’s written.. reminds me of how Radiohead writes their songs.

Watch Oren Lavie’s Her Morning Elegance music video. that, i think, is short film. the representation is thoroughly credible..

*excuse the wrong username I used prior to this reply.

Wait, to which are you referring to in this comment: the short film I just recommended or the music video in your post? I am confused XD.

Oh, yeah, now I know why this band seems familiar. I think I’ve seen a music video of theirs where they’re in treadmills.
